Every tape here is built on dead-soft aluminum foil, which conforms to seams, rivets and contours without cracking, reflects heat and blocks vapor. They fall into two families. Aerospace and military grades carry SAE AMS-T-23397B, MIL, Boeing or FAR approvals for aircraft sealing, masking and paint stripping, from $28.99 per roll. HVAC and insulation grades are UL-listed or cold-temperature tapes for duct sealing, vapor barriers and jacketed insulation, mostly sold by the case.
