Nitto P-629 is a modified-acrylic, flame-retardant, single-sided glass cloth tape engineered for the aerospace industry. Its bright white glass cloth backing blends seamlessly with Tedlar® (PVF) cargo liner panels, while the conformable cloth construction wraps contoured surfaces and mechanical fasteners with ease. The trusted choice for sealing cargo pit panel seams, it bonds firmly to new and worn Tedlar liners and provides a durable flame-retardant barrier in aircraft cargo compartments.
Designed for cargo bay seam and corner sealing, its specially formulated modified-acrylic adhesive delivers reliable, lasting bonds to PVF cargo liner panels and outstanding abrasion resistance for long service life. A bright blue HDPE liner increases ease of application and clean handling, and the tape is formulated without Penta, Octa, or Deca brominated diphenyl ether (per EU directive 2003/11/EC) and contains no heavy metals such as antimony trioxide — an environmentally responsible, RoHS-compliant choice for MRO and AOG line maintenance.
