Protex 20V is the aerospace industry's heavy-duty "Monkey Skin" protective paper — a 20 mil latex-saturated paper by Mask-Off with an external vinyl coating for enhanced abrasion resistance, roughly double the thickness of the 10V, for applications requiring maximum abrasion and impact protection. This heavy-duty surface protection paper is engineered for acrylic and polycarbonate windows, canopies, windshields, metal and painted surfaces, and graphite composite tooling. Qualified to Boeing BAC 5034 and Airbus AIMS 12-6-001.
Its natural latex adhesive provides reliable hold without damaging sensitive surfaces, and the flat release liner allows this latex-saturated paper to be die-cut into custom shapes and sizes. The silicone-free adhesive avoids contamination risk on critical aerospace surfaces.
