Its tackified acrylic adhesive provides an excellent combination of very high initial tack, immediate adhesion, and long-term aging resistance, making it suitable for outdoor and UV-exposed applications. The tape withstands humidity, UV light, and temperatures up to 130°C / 266°F for short-term periods and up to 80°C / 176°F long-term. A responsibly sourced paper liner — unbleached with 30% recycled fibers — supports tesa's sustainability commitments. A fingerlift version with extended liner (tesa 61970) is also available.

The tesa 51970 liner has recently changed to the new sustainable glassine paper liner. Here is some information with the new liner. • The new glassine paper liner is made of 30% recycled content. • The new liner is made with FSC® certified paper. • The adhesive and backing components of the product will remain the same. • The silicone system of the liner will remain the same. • The specification values of the products will remain unchanged.
