Polyken 290FR is a 13 mil PE-coated fiberglass cloth cargo pit tape with a rubber-based adhesive delivering 150 lb/in tensile strength — the aerospace industry's heavy-duty aircraft cargo tape, engineered for demanding freight aircraft applications where super-high tensile strength, aggressive adhesion, and proven flame resistance are non-negotiable. Approved by the FAA, Boeing, Airbus, and Bombardier for use aboard commercial and freight aircraft worldwide, it's the go-to pit tape for sealing and seaming aircraft cargo compartment liners.

The rubber adhesive bonds aggressively to all surfaces, resists flagging and lifting under heavy loads, and maintains its seal in the moisture-rich cargo compartment environment. The PE coating protects handlers from direct fiberglass contact, and the Deca-BDE-free formulation meets strict environmental and flame-retardance requirements — with zero burn time and no flame penetration confirmed by the included Certificate of Analysis. Meets FAR 25.853(a) and FAR 25.855(d).

Manufacturer's Certificate of Analysis included free of charge.
