Patco 1800 (also known as 1800FR) & (Black Mylar Tape) is a tough, conformable black PVC film flame retardant galley tape — an economical aircraft corrosion inhibitor and moisture-barrier waterseal tape designed for main-cabin wet areas: galleys, lavatories, and entryways. Built on a PVC film backing with an acrylic adhesive and a coated kraft paper liner, it forms a permanent, moisture-resistant seal that helps prevent corrosion on aircraft floor structures and will not delaminate. Highly conformable with 200% elongation, compatible with most sealants, and can be die-cut to custom shapes. Meets FAR 25.853(a) Appendix F for interior aircraft use. Available in Black in 2", 3", 4", 18", and 24" widths on 100-foot rolls.
