E&H 770-3FRS is a metalized polyester (silver/gray) insulation blanket cover splicing tape engineered for aircraft insulation blanket fabrication, installation, and repair. Built on metalized polyester film with a 20×10 polyester scrim and a fire-retardant acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive, it seals sewn seams and closes fabrication slits and holes around brackets, conduits, and other objects that pierce insulation. Manufactured by E&H Laminating & Slitting Company — the recognized specialist in aircraft insulation blanket tapes. Approved to Douglas DMS-1984 Rev. M Type 5 Class 1, FAR 25.853 (A, B), DMS-1511, and BSS-7230. Flame time is 0 seconds with no drips.
