A metalized polyester pressure sensitive insulation cover splicing tape engineered for aircraft insulation blanket fabrication, installation, and repair — approved to DMS-1984 Rev. M Type 5 Class 1, FAR Part 25.853(A,B), DMS-1511, and BSS-7230.

Intended Use

• Fabrication of insulation blanket covers
• Installation and repair of insulation systems in all aircraft
• Sealing sewn seams on insulation blankets
• Closing fabrication slits or holes around brackets, conduits, or other objects that pierce insulation
